Exactly Ken. Actually, I have had the opportunity to drive my gf's VW with
a normal bulb and a high-powered bulb (one burnt out and I haven't gotten
her a new one yet). The stock lighting, although boring and ugly, does
light up far better than the "high-powered" bulb. I still like the white
light too though, so I will keep using them.
