Working for the competior of Discount Tire, NTB, I can tell you that they
have good prices on their tires. We match alot of their prices on the
things we have to special order. If any of you guys noticed, they carry
tires that we have to order and we carry tires that they have to order. So
if you ever need to know pricing of a special tire, THE BEST THING is just
like Ron, look on the internet for the best prices. I can tell you by
experience that the internet has THE lowest prices on MOST tires. I don't
know if i exempt myself from the "tire buying public", buy I can also tell
you that when people say they don't give "deal", ITS BULLSHIT, they can and
they would. You just have to be able to show them a price thats better than
thiers. And most of us work on commission, so the "deal" you're getting is
cutting into our commission. Thats why they don't do it most the times.
