In the past I've always been a firm believer in using a rotor that was not
cross drilled or slotted, I have done the SE-R brake change over on the front
of my 1997 Sentra GLE and had the stock SE-R rotors and the SE-R change over
made quite a difference in stopping distance (in the seat of the pants feel,
I have no data for distances as of yet) I completely went thur my brakes and
at that time I added autospecialty brand cross drilled rotors up front and it
seemed to of have improved my braking distances (seat of the pants feel) once
again I have no real data to back this up as I have not been able to find out
what the stock stopping distance is for a 1997 GLE Sentra to check it
against. Hope this has been of some help.
