What happened to the Hardbody? You wanting to trade it in already? or is
this a second car?
If you are using your 200SX for a trade-in, I think that you would save
money by doing a swap. I would think that an old NX2K for around $2k is
achivable if you looked hard enough. Then you could do all the work (or
have someone do if for you even) and get it under $9k.
Hell, I would hope that you could rebuild a NX2K motor, and swap out the
brakes/axels for less than $9k. Think about the interest you will be
paying on this car. Even a good interest rate will bring you around the
$12k mark if you finance.
Bigger, faster used cars can be had for this money. I would keep
shopping around.
