I almost gave up but I had to try one more thing. I read this article at the
DSM website where one of the guys had a similar problem as me.
He had tested almost every sensor 3 times over and everything turns out to
be okay. I was sooo frustrated cuz I tried just about everything to solve
the pinging, crappy mileage and overall lack of power.
Anyways, the article explained of directly pouring combustion chamber into
the cylinders and letting the pistons soak for a day or two. After the motor
was fired back up its ben running like a champ ever since. I tried this over
the weekend and not one audible ping yet.
In my past treatments with Techron and various other brands of combustion
chamber the pinging always cameback within a matter of a day or two. This
time, nada. Not even a ticking sound from the engine. I think all this time
I had hard baked carbon on my pistons due to the negligence of the girl who
owned the car before me. Several bottles of Techron and 4 cans combustion
chamber cleaner through the PCV hose couldn't solve the problem.
All it took was a couple teaspoons full poured down the spark plug hole and
a little patience cleared everything right up.

Phew................ Finally, I got my car back.
