let me be a bit more explicit than most of the list members. it is one of two
things. either the 02 sensor or the cat. i would either go to a shop and have
the 02 sensor tested or just replace this first. it is cheaper.
www.automedicsupply.com has em for our cars they are the oem BOSCh
replacements, same shit nissan gives, just with their logo stamped on. they
have em for bout $30-$35, nissan $80 if the 02 sensor is defective replace
it. if this doesnt work then you should replace the cat. Availability of
aftermarket cats are either Random Technologies, which offers a direct bolt
on for $180, or Summit has a CATCO universal fit for our cars that can be
taken to any decent muffler shop so then can weld two flanges on it. i went
with the summit because it came out to $85 with install. I changed my cat
first when i had your problem and it didnt solve anything. i changed the 02
sensor and it stopped. later tony
