Hey dudes and dudettes...
Ok, my friend just got a '92 NX2000 (I know it aint no sentra, but it does
have a SR20DE :) ) and I drove it tonight. There are two major things
wrong with it. One, the clutch is loose in the first half of its travel.
It doesnt engage anything and this is just free play. I am guessing it just
needs adjustment. What do u guys think?
The second problem is more annoying. The car jerks, when a gear is fully
engaged (1-st, 2-nd and 3-rd mostly). The clutch is fully out and it occurs
during moderate acceleration. It is kind of as if the engine is gasping for
air. I checked the air filter and it looks fine. The exhaust makes weird
noise, kinda like a tractor, not very pleasing at all. My friend thinks it
is the oxygen sensor. I think it might be the plugs and we might change
those tomorrow. Help us out, I cant wait to rev this baby to its 7500 rpm
redline..
