A lot of die-hard Corvette enthusiasts had complained a lot about the C5's
handling when it first came out. However, what you claim is really hard to
believe if you are talking about a stock sentra. Even if it is a tight and
small course, I really doubt our stock wallowing boats(4-door B14's) could
hang with a C5 on an autocross. I would have to believe that it was driver
inadequacy that led to these numbers. Just go to any autocross. You will
see. Corvettes are by far the most popular car at the autocrosses I go to
in Sacramento. I will be running in my first auto-x in Qualcomm in San
diego on November 11th if any of you are interested in meeting up.
