Brake caliper pins are seizing.  It is easy to pull the caliper off and
grease the pins or replace them.  Fairly common problem, also can cause
uneven pad wear.  Or a lead foot on the stop pedal.

underway.  He thinks that the pads are coming in contact with the rotors
while driving.

The stealership adjusted the pads and calipers, but a few weeks later, the
problem had returned.
