I don't belive that, if you are talking about the Scott Shot, Luis Molina
did some testing to find the best MAF placment but did not compare the
prototype intake to HS or the Place intake.

The Place intake made 6 more hp at 5500 rpm on my car and 4 more peak. An
air intake is not going to make 11 more hp on our cars!

On a near stock car it makes like 4 hp around 5000 and 2 more peak hp.
A new intake is not going to make 9 hp on a stock motor.

If you can post A to B dyno graphs with the correct correction factoring,
etc, then I will belive you but other wise I don't think it is posible to
the point where I am practicaly sure it is.

I do belive that the Scottshot can be 5 hp better than a non optimal design,
the if the MAF is too close to the TB or the filter inlet area makes
turbulance that causes the MAF to read wrong. The MAF is sensitve to
turbulance and a poorly designed CAI cause the engine to lean out at WOT and
can cause a loss of power or a almost negligble gain.

This is all stuff we figured out with a dyno and using a Horiba broad band
A/F meter in lots of testing.
