Would the MAf closer to the filter near the fender be better because once the 
air goes throught the MAF, it can smooth out faster and recieve a resonance 
effect much better before it hits the TB, rather than the traditional setup?  
        I tried this years ago at the track.  I used PVC pipe and constructed 
a CAI with that.  I located the MAF at the filter because I had no good 
fittings.  I cut and spliced wire into the harness to extend the MAF to the 
headlight area.  ITook out the headlight to get the air into it like a ram 
effect and cold effect.  I didn't know then about the resonance effect, but I 
think the car made great power then.  I used the JWT POP then also.  It was a 
good experiment that many tried and Hotshot came out with the first I 
believem then PR CAI came next.  Weapon R had a setup I tried too, but the 
cold pipe I felt was better.     Chris 92 classic
