i had a similar problem with my old car. My problem was with a sticking 
throttle body.. After the cleaning i gave it the throttle body would 
stick.......There is a small amount of oil that needs to be present so the 
hinges anpd plate continue to work.....cleaning the throttle body takes that 
away...try adding a "small" amount of oil to these areas and see what 
happens.........might work...might not......worth a try....
