"...if you have problems with stalling or near stalling when the car slows or
stops..... Try raising the idle a little bit. "

What if ever since you cleaned your throttle body your car idles at at least
1400 RPM, and when you come to a stop or off-throttle the engine spends 5-10
seconds cycling between 1000 RPM and 1900 RPM? Back and forth until it
settles back at 1400 (obviously way too high).

I turned down the idle screw at the throttle body but the thottle plate didnt
close with the screw (like it should) it stayed in it's place and everytime I
would push the acc. pedal to come off idle, the throttle plate would actually
stick to it's surrounding metal housing, which became very annoying very
quick. I tried cleaning around the plate...but got nothing. I'm thinking
maybe an air-intake bypass valve (or the equivalent on our cars) but dont
know where to look. This didn't get bad til I cleaned my throttle body. Any
help??? (sorry for the long post)
