changing the bulbs inside the speedometer is easy. . . just a few screws and
a few hook ups and its off. However, as for the same effect as the vw's?? I
don't know. I have a b12 and behind the gauges is a green film (because
originally the lights were green) layed across the back of the gauge. I put
red bulbs in there and the lighting looks cool, no trace of green. I'm not
really sure about what the volkswagons have. But I'd imagine that they have
something similar on the back of there gauges as well to get that effect.
Let me know though, and let me know the price, cuz i've been wanting to do
that for quite some time now, but wasn't sure if it would work.
