Like someone else had already said, change the oil frequently. Along with a
quality filter and that is probably the best you can do for the engine.
Synthetics are better but I'm not sure they are really necessary. Slick50 is
not by Dupont, teflon is by Dupont. Infact, Dupont advises against using
Teflon in internal combustion engines so Slick50 is selling a big load of
BS. Slick50 was even hit with a recent law suit by the federal trade
commision for making unsubstantiated claims that are misleading to the
consumer. Stay away from those Doublegaurd filters from FRAM as well.
Teflon does not belong in your engine.
