Note from an ex-disgruntled Postal Worker.  If you are going to send 
anything of value and you don't want it lost, get it Certified, Insured, or 
Registered.  If you are woried about damage, get it insured.  DO NOT send it 
Delivery Confermation.  This is no security.  All it means that the carrier 
is supposed to scan it when it is delivered.  With as many Postal Carriers 
on the streets, that hate the new implementations (one of the many reasons I 
quit) that are going on, take caution with valuable items.  I recomend 
people to go UPS but I was more kind as a Carrier than some of the UPS 
drivers I saw.  I have even helped get UPS packages into appts. when the UPS 
driver refused to deliver.  But don't take the Carrier for granted or, ya 
know, shit happens.  LOL.  Just warning.
