Enoch, I work for Purolator Courier, the signiture is required to show proof of delivery. If no one is home when the courier comes, they will try back 2 more times before they leave the package at the courier depot. Then they will leave a note saying it is a Hold for pick up.They also leave a note each time they dont get a hold of you.Packages are never left a door steps unless you request it, then if it stollen it is your responsibility.
