Unless your car has a turbo, 11:1 compression or a big NOS unit, an MSD will
not do anything. This has been proven on a dyno. The only place it might
help with the powerful stock Nissan ignition on a bolt on only car is if the
engine is in a super bad state of tune.

However the MSD is so powerful, it can agrivate things like a worn out
distributor cap and old wires.

If you Dyno'd a bolt on equipped car with and without an MSD, you will not
find a bit of difference in power. The stock Nissan ignition is very good.
The money spent on an MSD would be better spent buying a Hotshot insted of a
Pacesetter hear for instance or a mandrel insted of a crush bent exhaust or
perhaps a cai or UD pullies.

The MSD is one one of the best ignitions you can buy but most of you dn't
need it.
