"hello i want to lower my 1995 200sx the right way.. i am getting 17"
focal rims i am not to familiar with supsension and lowering etc. but iw
ant to do it the right way so that i dont' feel ever god damn bump when i
am driving. can anyone help a fellow nissan owner out. i also am not
looking to spend a whole lot of cash to lower it."
LOL first off with those 17's and ultra low profile tires you are goign to
feel EVERY little bump in the road. Even with a really soft suspension you
will still feel more than you would with the stock wheels and tires. The
right ay to lower your car s with the Motivational Engineering shortened
strut/coil over setup! It would provide the most comfortable ride and great
handling! But since you said you didn't want to spend a lot. You could go
with the Eibach pro-kit, KYB AGX setup! The pro-kit lower the car about
1.5" and the AGX's are adjustable so you can set them as firm or as soft as
you want. Keep in mind that this setup will still be more firm than the
stock setup! Oh and you can expect to pay about $380 for the shocks and
$175 for the springs from www.shox.com. This would be the cheapest "right"
way to lower your car, and stil have a tolerable ride.
