No man, no need to replaced the valve cover gasket. It is just a cheap rubber one since it is not under any compression or vacuum. I have done the valve seals once and my head gasket twice. It is an 86 Sentra with 185k and still has the original valve cover gasket (although I have a new one in my tool box that came with the head gasket kit). Also, I don't know what your engine looks like, but I doubt you need to take out the spark plugs, but any ways check them first if the plugs are fine, leave them in and if the plugs are shitty change them don't worry about the plug gasket.
