Hi Guys,
Greetings from Barbados,
Me again with a couple of questions regarding the
insertion of the SR20 into my B11. Before i ask, i
have to say that...

Firstly, i have been on the mailing list for a short
while and thus far (maybe a month or more), i have
learnt a lot from you guys regarding the Sentras and
their maintenance. THANKS. Now for my questions...

1) Has anybody out there ever considered OR is using a
different Engine Management System?

It was recently brought to my attention, (i am trying
to find out if it is true) that it may be possible to
use something aftermarket and let that computer
replace the standard one.
DTA E48 EXP or the Emerald Cams- Emerald M3D for
example are what i am looking at...

Website for the DTA E48 EXP is
http://www.dtafast.demon.co.uk/

if anybody else is interested in this stuff check out
this page..

My situation is simple, ( i don't have the computer
for my SR20 )if i can use an aftermarket computer
(Which must NOT be terribly expensive), i would prefer
to buy that rather than source a standard one computer
for my project...since they can be used to facilitate
modifications (like cams... at a later date) as well
as operate in the standard state, which i would
currently be in.

2) Would it be possible to adapt the rear disk brakes
from another vehicle (like a Nissan Bluebird or
Infinity in US market, i think that's what it is
called) to the rear of my B11? This in addition to the
Brake Proportioning valve that was previously
suggested seems to be the way to go...along with the
perhaps the front brake hubs from the 1.8 Sentra...

Is that type of thing very difficult?

Also, if anyone in Miami has a SR20 gearbox that is
willing to sell for a reasonable price, drop me a line
at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Thankz a lot for your suggestions,

Hoping for a positive response soon
Ron
