My pully actually made the motor idle and vibrate less than with the stock
one in place. The counter weights in the motor really do the balance. I
have a spare motor that is in the works of rebuilding with high compression
and such, and I am having the crank weights shaved and the unit micropolished
and balanced. The new rods and pistons will be weighted to nearly the same
too. When you match the motor components, vibration is less evident too.
This won't help you out, but I thought I wouls tell you this anyway. I think
our internals are balanced good from the factory. The B14 gets micropolished
crankshaft journals and cam journals to reduce friction and vibration.
My 2000 V6 truck has the micorpolished things and has way less
vibration than my dads maxima motor which is the same VG series motor.
