SML: Rebuilding a SR20 Jap-Spec!!!!

Hey, I was just wondering if I should buy a Jap-spec SR20 for $150? The catch 
is that it blew a rod and needs a crank. If I do buy it, would it be hard to 
fix? Also is there any manual to help me fix it. I plan on rebuilding the 
engine myself. Also, how much it cost to rebuild it? Thanks in advance....
