Considering what a crank would cost you, I would just buy a JSpec sr20 from
K Watanabe and be done with it. You might still want to rebuild it, but at
least you wouldn't have to try to find the right crank...

Keep in mind that this is just an estimate, but I would figure at least $150
for a gasket kit. Then there are all the bearings, any sensors that need
replaced, piston rings, etc... There are a lot of potential expenses here.
