Sounds like Manville street in Compton in the mid '70's to late '80's. Right
Mike? They had the quarter mile marked off on the ground. A lot of serious
money(in the $1000.00 range) was bet back then. Saw my share of fatal
accidents too. 150MPH trap speed trailered V8's going out of control. VW
Bugs so light they couldn't keep the front end down to control the car.
'Vettes spinning out and smashin' into trees. Not to mention the occassional
car jacking.
Fuhg that! You guys can keep that street racing crap!
