Ken, thanks for the help... I will look into this, it should help.  Plus, I
live in San Diego, so it shouldn't get too cold.  I never had this problem
when I lived in Colorado.

Thats cuz when its cold, the tranny  fluid doesn't flow very well to make
the syncros that are probably already somewhat worn work very well.
A high quality synthetic GL-4  fluid from AMSoil or something similar will
help the crunchiness in the morning. 75W-90 is prefered for cold areas.
