Today I testdrived a few cars. Actually I was helping my friend testdrive because he wants to get a manual but doesn't know how to drive one. Anyone is welcome to share their oppinion or insight. There was two car we particularly liked. One was a 90 300zx v6 base model, repainted, newly installed tokico shocks, suspension technique springs, clutchmaster clutch, new dunlop z rated tires with 150k on it and cost 8 grand but non-salvaged. The other one is a 90 3000gt with 100k on it, all stock parts except for new clutch and cost 63k but is salvaged. Driving impression of the 300zx was spectacular, it's handling is solid, no abnormal engine noises and overall the car feels very solid as if it were brand new. The 3000gt feels much more sluggish than the 300zx. It feels heavy, almost as if you're driving a tank. It reminds me of the v8 iroc camaro only that it's slower than the camaro. Does anyone know if the 3000gt is an american engineered car? Which one is more reliable? Any notorious problems with these cars? Damn the more I drive these semi-exotics, the more I love my Sentra. It feels so different and easy to manuever. +---------------------------- Advertisement ---------------------------+ Import Parts Plus - http://www.importpartsplus.com Your online performance superstore!
