I just quickly looked things up and VDO makes a sending unit for temp
gauges. What you will need to do is drill a hole into somewhere like the
thermostat tower and install the sending unit there. Then run a wire up to
the dash for the temp gauge. Sez here that VDO has 250F and 300F sending
unit for their gauges.
