Well, by the way he said it... he probably meant HIGHER compression and
lowering the volume will yield the extra hp... (I have no say in this).

With this trick, the pull is definitely can be felt... so it might be more
than 1 hp increase?

Anyway, is it possible for you to screw up anything by playing with the
timing? I mean, I always play with the timing to get the best feel, but soon
afterwards my car usually start bogging in the morning. Why is that is
beyond me. Or is it totally unrelated? (the bog felt like vacuum problem
with low-speed jets... mine's a carburetted GA16).
