I just replaced the tensioner on my NX2K,just the
other day. And from the looks of things,I'll need to
replace the timing chain before the end of the year.As
there are wear marks on the timing chain.
Replacing the tensioner is fairly easy. I think just
about everyone on this list should be able to do it.
*HOWEVER*,I would recommend removing the valve cover
first. The FSM doesn't say you should,but it's helps
to see if the tensioner is pressing against the timing
chain guide properly.
You'll also be able to check for any signs of wear on
the timing chain,cam sprockets etc.
