Well, I got the muffler and piping, there was a definite noticeable
difference in noise reduction :) The car was still sluggish, and I
didn't have the tools to take out the spark plugs, and check them, but
that is what I assumed was causing the problem at the least. Turns
out that one of the spark plugs had fouled so badly, that it wasn't
firing, and my car was running on 3 cylinders. Its back to normal
now.
Went on an interview, and now have a second interview. Hoping to get
a job, then I'm about to slap every puppy on this OLD car that I can
find. It must be great to have a car that is either paid for or
you're about to finish paying off, and have left over funds to mod the
hell out of it. This should be a very good learning experience 4 me.
Car wants to pull, BUT my clutch is slipping quite badly. Time for
another upgrade, I wasted so many good RPMs due to this :( Now I can
only drive like a timid little woodland creature.
Guess I'll go for the ACT clutch kit. I've heard many good things
about it from quite a few people.
Just wanted to thank all of you, that helped me out, special props to
Kenichi, and Chris (Erwindrost).
Kevin - ENJOYING THE RIDE (damn clutch) - no longer riding the BUS.
