Chris
I honestly have not put these on my Mazda as of yet, I am still
collecting all the other things to get ready for the spring maintenance. What
I have found out from talking to several members on that list that it does
not change horsepower that much. @ people told me a difference of 2 HP but a
difference of 6 lbs/ft in torque. Others have told me that it does
dramatically change the temp of the intake manifold to the touch, meaning you
can for a little while before a burn. Anyway no one has told me it was a bad
addition, but some have said that it got rid of the sluggishness that K
series Mazda engines suffer from. Anyway I know they use them on the mustangs
for added torque. I thought it was a good idea for us especially since it is
less than 80 bucks. Anyway that is the deal as far as I know. Anyway look at
the web site and see what you think. Of course this part has not been
produced for our cars yet but I asked him about considering to do so. Below
is the letter he sent back to me.
Marcus,
We have considered Nissan applications, but have leaned more toward the
SR20DE with it's greater performance potential. However, if there is
demand, anything is possible.
Thank you,
