I considered redoing the motor and building it up for a turbo using 8.5:1
compression and using stock cams and just porting the head and cleaning it
up. Then you can run a high boost turbo setup and put lots of ponies out
then. I am hoping a company will make a metal head gasket for compression
purposes for the GA. The head bolts will need to be changed to hold the high
boost. Ignition could be upgraded to a MSD BTM with retard control on
timing. I am seriously thinking about this situation. I would have to save
mucho bucks because the tranny is auto and I am thinking about either
changing it to a stick or having the auto rebuilt. A company in NJ does
tranny work. They did that NX2000 automatic up and it held the turbo!
