SML: STEREO

HERE is  a crazy /. i turned on my radio yesterday as far as i knew it was 
working fine earlier in the day, anyway i turned it on and tuned it up to 
volume level 5 and it was fine, i turned it up one more notch to 6 and it 
kept fading in and out......the radio stayed on but the sound went in and 
out..... any ideas?
