Well as I remember there were a couple candidate racks that could have fit
my Sentra. It's pretty much always up to you, the consumer, to keep the
carparts guys from selling you the wrong part. I can't tell you how many
times I have gotten home from the parts store and had a part that didn't
fit. Mostly the difference between you and the guy behind the parts counter
is he has a computer he can look the part number up on. Mostly these guys
know little or nothing about the cars and what different parts were used. I
have seen a few exceptions; there's a guy who works at The Volvo Store in
Winter Park (FL) that knows just about everything there is to know about
Volvo parts. I could have replaced anyone else in the department and done a
better job, but Roger knew more than me every single time.

One thing you need to be careful..
Rebuilt ones do not have the same parts as the
original factory parts. Example. i went to pepboys
to get the inner and outer tie rods. They did not
have them in stock (SER parts were in stock and it was
much cheaper >:| ) They decided to take it off a Rack
and pinon they had in stock. We took them off and
...Tadaaa.. the threads of the tie rods from the
rebuilt was different from the factory ones. Now if I
had changed the complete tack system, if down the road
I needed to change just the tierods, I would be
screwed because I would not be able to find the
replacement part.
Anyway FYI it was $300+ just for the rack system
