I would think that Radio Shack would carry them but you said they were out or
did not carry them, I have in the past bought different colored LED's at
Radio Shack to use as replacements for equipment I own. Check your local
phone book yellow pages for electronic supply and surplus elect. stores
(new/used) they also carry them. If you want to make it look like you have a
alarm system when in fact you do not you will have to build your own set up
to make the LED flash on and off, if your are replacing a burnt out LED make
sure the voltage matches your old one that you are replacing.
