Well, usually an engine will drag or run a little
slower than normal when the A/C is turned on. If you
had to replace the belt(you said it had a brand new
belt) that could be that the A/C is locking up and the
clutch just slips when it's not on. However, I would
have it checked out as soon as possible by a
prroffesional. Or just by a new A/C..
