i was watching good morning america this morning on abc news here in the tri- state area. the reporter was talking about the lambo and corvette accident. of course, they mentioned the fast and the furious, showed some clips from the movie. they also showed some illegal street racing footage in los angeles and some footage of the opening night of the movie when all the cops were pulling people over. it was a pretty vague story, nothing going into detail. but they mentioned how "drag racing" has been here for decades, blah blah, and how now its different with cheap imports. but here's what caught my eye. they showed a clip of a real drag event. and to me bewilderment, what do i see at the top of the screen, a nice red classic whooping butt on his oponent. its james farrer, and his name flashed in the corner of the screen too, but my eyes didn't move fast enough to see if it was his time.
