SML-NON-P: Radiator

radiator....i have 92,000+ miles on my 94 sentra(1.6)
i am now begining to see a little corrieon on the hoses. i am about to take it in for 
flush job, but before i do that is there anything i should watch out for?  or anything 
i can do to the radiator to improve my engine?
