My background is in the ER, SICU/CVICU - OB land is completely foreign to me. I am rolling out our sepsis program and do not have the first clue as to how to effectively screen an OB patient. I cannot find any information either yet many published articles mention the underdiagnoses in this population. Would this be done post-partum or on admission during labor? Surely, it's not in labor and delivery. But, I may be wrong--- again-very foreign. Any information on this would be fantastic.
