So, CMS has SIRS criteria as Temperature > 100.9 or <96.8 For years here at our hospital we have used >100.4 and < 96.8. Now that Core Measures is different wondering how you all are handling this? Are you changing all your documentation to go with 100.9? I personally do not want to change to this - I think the earlier we can detect the better. How will this affect us if we keep it the same??
