Hello Chadrick- We have not incorporated the SEP3 because it is clinically a little difficult as 1.) Sofa is a mortality scale 2.) qSofa is helpful, however, it is late in the game looking for tachycardia, hypotension and MS changes-so is q sofa as helpful for a clinical tool? SIRS may be nonspecific, but is helpful with detection. There is quite a bit of opinion on the matter out there. We have MS changes in our infection section of the screening tool.
