Hello, Are any other facilities utilizing a sepsis checklist to help guide staff through the bundle elements?
We have a paper version of a sepsis checklist. Our checklist serves as a quick reference and communication tool regarding the time criteria was met, and what elements have been completed. We would like to incorporate this checklist into EMR for ease of use. Before doing so we would like to know if other facilities are utilizing this tool and if it has been beneficial. If your facility uses a checklist: 1. Has use of the checklist improved compliance with the sepsis bundles? 2. Do you use a paper or electronic version? 3. If it was paper and is now electronic has that increased or decreased the use of the checklist? 4. What have you done to encourage use of the checklist?
