I replied to this earlier, but it looks like Google Groups ate it. Anyway, I merged this and a whole bunch of other patches earlier today, so give the master branch a shot and make sure everything still works. There were a few MySQL related issues that my second test suite uncovered, which are fixed in the master branch but weren't fixed in the patch I posted here.
