My intention is not to use the approach ill-advised by the forum in my actual application, rather I far prefer to adopt the recommended usage in my application. Also, I will certainly attempt to explore the avenues illuminated here, but I'll be time-boxing my investigations to that end, since the it is only demos that are the application of the prescribed alternatives. :-\
