Emmanuel,

I'm implementing a very simple LoadBalancer.
It is very specific to my application and I'm not sure that it can
interest
someone.

I'm implementing a LoadBalancer of type Master-Slave.

All the requests Reads/writes are sent to the master and asynchronously
forwarded to the slave.

The communication with the mater is sure (local) but the communication
with the slave is not sure (remote).

With this new LoadBalancer, even is the communication with the slave is
lost, all is OK. And my application is not impacted.

I previously tested the Raidb1 loadBalancer but sometimes after having
killed the slave, my application hung or I have "null".

Best regards,

Xavier.

You should either add a new load balancer in the DTD and parser, or even

simpler replace the implementation of an existing load balancer.
Could you tell us what kind of load balancing policy you are developing
that is not addressed by the current load balancers?
Are you willing to contribute this back in the Sequoia source tree?

Thanks for your feedback,
Emmanuel
