After using the Distribution statement the reported error vanishes.
Question: If I use this statement can I run sequoia with only ONE
SINGLE Cluster node?
It runs obviously - but are there any drawbacks?
The drawback is a lesser performance on writes because you need to go
through the distributed remote procedure call layer that sits on top of
the group communication. Even if local communications are fast, it's a
significant overhead compared to a simple method call within the same
thread!
