Hi,

We are using *collocated controller configuration*, a RAIDb-1 configuration with just one database backend. We have setting to enable the virutal database during controller startup. We have observed that the controller is extremely slow to startup - over 10 mins. There are about 144 tables in the database with no more than about 10 columns in each table. Can you recommend ways to improve startup performance, as in production usage this is too long to wait for controller to come up.

You can use Sequoia 3 or for Sequoia 2.10+ update your DatabaseSchema dynamicPresion option and set it to table instead of column (check the DTD, this is a subelement of DatabaseBackend).

Hope this helps,
Emmanuel
