Thanks. We are using Sequioa 2.10.2. By adding <DatabaseSchema
dynamicPrecision="table"/>, the startup time has halved - to about 5 minutes.
Can I speed this up any further in sequioa 2.10.2?
If you have multiple schemas and want to narrow the schema fetching to a
single schema, you can precise schemaName="myschema". You can also make
sure that gatherSystemTables is set to false.
Will Sequioa 3.o give
significantly faster startup time? When are you planning to make a stable
verison 3.0 release?
Sequoia 3.0 might be slightly faster, but as we still rely on the
database driver to fetch the schema, this might still take some time for
large schemas.
We will release a new 3.0beta2 most likely today. I am not sure when the
stable release will be out. The beta is already stable but it means that
the APIs or config files are not frozen yet and might still change until
the final release.
