I was waiting for Emmanuel's feedback. There are several ways to go
and I'd like to have his opinion about this: we can either change the
way the schema is stored or the way we're looking for tables (or
both).

IMHO, you can continue working with Sequoia as it's not a big problem:
queries are executed even if it's through the conflicting queue.

I suppose Emmanuel is not available atm as he usually is very reactive
on the list.

I'll take a bit more time to think about the problem and see if I can
find an acceptable solution by myself.
